Master Lifts SA was established back in 2000 by husband and wife team Mark and Sandy Wheaton. With a background in building inspections, design and a natural talent for hands-on work, Mark spotted an emerging trend – building blocks were getting smaller, homes were going higher and the aging population wanted to stay and live independently in their homes as long as possible. However, with hip and knee replacements on the rise, stairs were becoming a challenge, so the idea for Master Lifts SA was born – not just to install residential lifts, but to create safer, more comfortable homes where people could live well at every stage of life.
Generations of Expertise, One Commitment to Quality
What started as a small, client-focused business has grown into one of South Australia’s most trusted home lift specialists. In 2018, Mark and Sandy’s daughter Julie Coe and her husband Jason took over the reins to carry on the family business. While the faces may have changed, the values haven’t, and Jason and Julie continue to deliver expert service and personalised lift solutions tailored to each client’s unique needs.
